FFS together with the collaboration of Al Musta’an, a non-profit organisation, started a 5-day food distribution in Pulau Tuba, Langkawi, for the Asnaf population. We managed to sponsor 200 Iftar meals per day, with a total of 1000 meals over the last five days of Ramadan.
Pulau Tuba is one of the inhabited islands of the Langkawi archipelago. It was a rather challenging journey as the roads were not paved well making the transportation of food a tricky one but that didn’t stop us from going all the way to extend our help. A big thank you goes out to Al-Musta’an for organising and distributing the food!
The balance of the funds from our contribution was given as duit raya to 50 Asnaf individuals with RM60 in each packet.
