On 24 April, FFS helped 100 Universiti Malaya students (Asnaf) by providing dry food supplies such as drink packs, biscuits, instant noodles, and cereal. The students had always found it difficult to pay for basic needs due to a lack of financial resources. It’s saddening to know that some of the students were unable to go back to their hometowns for the Eid celebration too hence we wanted to bring some joy that we could give for the festive season.
Besides that, we also distributed 100 food packs to B40 residents in Kota Damansara in collaboration with KDFreeMarket, an organisation that provides free food and financial assistance to the underprivileged around Kota Damansara. The distribution was successfully held for 2 days, on the 25th and 26th of April 2022, as we reached out to many residential areas.
