We received a call for help from Koperasi Nelayan to provide food support for the impoverished families in the fishing community of Klebang, Melaka. The CoVid pandemic and lockdown has hit them hard. Alhamdulillah we arranged with a local supplier to provide 286 families yesterday with rice and other essential groceries.
In the past 2 months since FFS has started work, we have assisted over 1500 families throughout Malaysia , consisting of the poor, shelters, refugees and other marginalized communities. We have also provided meals and snacks to almost 5,000 volunteers at CoVid vaccination and quarantine centres.
