Free Food Society recently conducted a food aid distribution for B40 students from various faculties at University Malaya. A total of 20 students received the food supplies which helped them to cover their basic needs whilst helping them in terms of the rising cost of living.
This donation gave them relief from a part of their financial difficulties and enabled them to utilise their limited funds for educational needs instead. Smiles could be seen on their faces as the donation came at the right time when the economic situation seemed uncertain with people burdened by the high cost of living which has affected students in public universities.
