On 6 September, we distributed food packs to 35 Afghan families living in Merdeka Villa, Ampang.
The groceries were bought on behalf of FFS by the volunteer team at Somali Refugee Center and distributed by them. They came to our rescue when our normal supplier had to cancel our order last minute due to COVID-19. This is a great case of refugees helping other refugees.
It took a Canadian woman living in Abu Dhabi to bring up the plight of 10 of the Afghan families. Patricia has been helping these families for many months. She used to live here, a psychologist helping the Afghan families. Thank you very much everyone for your endless support.
