I’m awestruck how Ustadzah Nor Azainah manages to organize iftar meals every single day in Ramadan for 600 of the most disadvantaged families at the housing projects of Lembah Subang.
With funding from donors, she gets single mothers to cook and earn money for the festive season.
It’s a logistical nightmare when there are 4000 families living in the 8 blocks but ustadzah and her band of volunteers do a great job making sure the meals are picked up or delivered to the ones in need.
Free Food Society / Persatuan Makanan Ehsan sponsored 6 days of meals, and speaking to the residents , it’s clear the meals were much appreciated and truly a lifeline in this month.
