5 Dec – FFS distributed cooked food (gulai nasi kawah) to flood victims around Bandar Machang, Kelantan.
FFS also distributed food packs to flood victims, mostly asnaf in the affected areas of:
1. Kg Tok Sidi
2. Kg Cherang
3. Kg Banggol Che Wan
4. Kg Chap
5. Kg Banggol Gelang Mas
6. Kg Dalam Parit
These areas are in the surrounding areas of Pasir Mas.
Many houses are empty even though waters have receded because there is heavy cleaning work which needs equipment to clear mud. Members of FFS are also helping with the cleaning equipment.
The hardcore poor are, unfortunately, staying on as they can’t afford to find a place to move to so as and when we have available funds, we will continue to contribute cooked food.
