Mina the Afghan community worker submitted a list of families requesting food aid. However a COVID case at our usual supplier of groceries meant that deliveries were temporarily stopped. So we sought the help of the Youth Empowerment Support team at the Somali Refugee Centre. They are refugees themselves and active in helping others in the refugee communities. In a matter of 2 days , the groceries were bought and delivered to 35 Afghan families at Taman Merdeka.
