On 31 August, we distributed 50 food packs to the nelayan in Kampung Kuala Sala and to the paddy farmers in Kampung Sala Kecil, Kuala Kangkong, Kota Setar, Kedah. It is overwhelming to see that, these nelayan and paddy farmers have been badly affected by the pandemic coupled with unpredicted weather recently. It had caused heavy flooding and mudslides in their neighboring area of Yan and Gurun.
This distribution is the first that they have received! We would like to thank Cikgu Zulkifli Omar who reached out to us and helped to execute the distribution. Thank you Food Bank Malaysia for helping us source the food. And thank you too, to all our donors who made this distribution possible.
