What started out as a collaboration between the Free Food Society (FFS) and The Amal Squad to distribute jointly barang basah and barang kering to B40 families in Seri Kembangan extended to become a distribution to additional recipients. All receipients were identified by the AJK of Masjid Al Muttaqin, Seri Kembangan which wanted to spread the goodwill further to more residents who have lost their jobs.
Eventually, FFS distributed 40 food bags to these additional individuals and the balance 20 distributed equally between the original FFS/Amal Squad list and unexpected walk-in families waiting whom the organisers did not have the heart to turn their plea for help.
