On 1 September, we have distributed 35 food packs to a Filipino community living in Pandan Jaya. Most of them are from Sabah and working mainly in F&B and construction industries. Due to the lockdown, the restaurants and construction site have been closed, leaving them with no income.
A friend, Lai Fun Goh reached out to us on behalf of them and with the help of Smith Rohaina who is part of this community that organized the distribution. Huge thank you to Jaya Grocer for donating the food packs and Brickfields Asia College (BAC) for providing the storage space to keep the packs.
FFS sole objective is to provide food aid to those in need regardless of race, religion or nationality.
