Last Wednesday, 14th September 2022, Youth Empowerment Support held a food distribution for refugee communities near Cheras and Ampang areas.
Mohammed, leader of the Youth Empowerment Support, who also runs the Al-Fitrah food bank at the Somali community centre in Gombak received an urgent appeal for food from 50 Rohingya families living in Pangsapuri Sri Nilam, Ampang. Since there wasn’t enough stock at the food bank, Free Food Society stepped in to provide some supplies.
