15th Apr – Free Food Society helped to partly sponsor the cost of Iftars sent to homes and shelters for orphans, abandoned, and refugee children until the end of Ramadan. This is an initiative by Little Anna Kitchen where Zurinah Hassan, the person in-charge of the kitchen, cooks and supervises the cooking process with her team. She also organised the distribution of the iftar meals.
Zurinah has been doing this Ramadan Program for many years, by sending home-cooked meals regularly to several homes and shelters around the area.
A big thank you to Zurinah Hassan and her team for this wonderful effort and we appreciate all the support for a greater cause in sharing happiness.
